Fitsummertops.com sells summer tops. That's the only category we focus on.
Why just tops? Because when you focus on one thing, you get better at it. We've tried, tested, and tossed hundreds of summer tops over the past few seasons. The ones that make it to our site are the ones we'd actually wear on a hot, humid day without complaining.
What we look for in a good summer top:
Lightweight fabric — if it feels heavy in your hand, it'll feel heavy on your body
Breathable weave — air should pass through, not get trapped
Decent opacity — light doesn't have to mean see-through
Holds up in the wash — no shrinking, no pilling, no falling apart after three cycles
Fair price — you shouldn't need a second job to afford a tank top
Who we are behind the site
We're a small independent team — just people who got tired of returning summer tops that looked great online but felt terrible in real life. We don't have a warehouse full of staff or a customer service hotline with hold music. When you email us, you get one of us. That means responses might take a few hours instead of a few minutes, but you'll talk to an actual human who knows what a "breathable fabric" means.
A few honest notes
"Breathable" doesn't mean "invisible." Some lightweight fabrics are a little sheer. We'll tell you in the description if that's the case.
We don't do crazy discounts or flash sales. Our prices are just our prices. If something goes on sale, it's because we're clearing out a color or a size, not because we're trying to trick you.
Why you can trust us
We carefully select, test, and review every product before adding it to our store. We order samples, test them, photograph them ourselves, and write honest descriptions. If a top runs small, we say so. If the fabric is thicker than expected, we say that too.
